Do I really NEED a Personal Trainer? If you clicked on this link, it means you've at least THOUGHT about getting a personal trainer. But maybe you're not quite sure if you need one, want one, or--and maybe most importantly--if you can afford one.Well, first, I’ve got a question for you? What are your goals? It’s true, you can't hit anything unless you're aiming for something. Everyone needs goals--personal, financial, and yes, physical. Your friends and accountant can help you with the first two. We're here to help you with the sometimes confusing, and often frustrating final one—your PHYSICAL goals.Have you tried to set physical goals in the past then gotten discouraged because you can’t ever seem to achieve them. Your problem may be that you are trying to achieve them ON YOUR OWN.Let’s face it—while many of us WANT to change our bodies, most of us don’t like change. We don’t like how HARD it is. We don’t like how INCONVENIENT it may be. And we certainly don’t like how LONG we have to work at it.We may have a dream body in mind, or a dress or bathing suit sitting in our closet gathering dust while we vacillate back and forth between the two stages of life: DIET and No-DIET. The achievement of that physical goal always seems to be dangling just out of reach. What we really need is a coach. Someone to…First… LISTEN TO US—what we want to achieve, our dreams and desires.Second, TEACH US—mentally helping us to retrain our minds, unlearning bad mental habits and replacing them with correct thinking.Third, TRAIN US—physically assisting us in the practicals of cardio and resistance training and creating a program specifically designed for us.Last, KICK US—that’s right. Kick our butts when the couch has more appeal than our yoga mat or our bike.Sure, Hollywood types and elite athletes may be able to shell out $1000 a week for some super-star trainer to come into their in-home gym. But let’s be real--most of us ain’t there. And cost is usually the #1 reason we DON’T get a personal trainer. We can often just barely afford our gym fees. But think of it this way—utilizing a personal trainer is like investing in your future—the re-education of your mind and the re-molding of your body. Besides if you’re working out on your own and you’re not training so you achieve results, YOU’RE WASTING YOUR TIME and YOUR MONEY anyway. So what do you do? Let’s find a happy medium. You can still get the benefits of personal training without forking over the big-bucks. Here are a few ideas:1. Get a buddy. At Studio One, you can train with a friend and split the costs. Plus buddies can motivate each other when the other is slacking. It’s a win-win situation.2. If you’re good at pushing yourself, you can work with one of our personal trainers just one day a week. This way you reap the benefits of a trainer but you can work the other 5-6 days a week on your own, implementing the plan your trainer creates for you.3. If you got an A+ for independent work in grade school, you can get with a personal trainer once a month or once every two weeks. The trainer’s job will be more geared toward re-adjusting your program each time and following up to make sure you are staying on track. At Studio One, individual sessions with Head Trainer, Russ Pullen are just $60. Ten pre-paid sessions are $55 per session. With 20 sessions you save even more—just $50 per session. So stop wasting your time in the gym. Reap the benefits of a personal trainer and let them help you achieve your goals!
